Our physiotherapy services support a wide range of needs, including pain relief, injury recovery, mobility, posture, sports injuries, ICBC recovery, post-surgery rehabilitation, and pelvic floor concerns.

Physio Treatment

Physiotherapy That Looks at the Whole Body

Physiotherapy is not only about treating the area that hurts. It is about understanding how your body moves, what may be contributing to your symptoms, and what needs to improve so you can feel stronger, more comfortable, and more confident.

At Rose Wellness Centre, your physiotherapy care begins with an assessment. Your physiotherapist will listen to your concerns, review your symptoms, assess your movement, strength, mobility, posture, and function, then create a personalized care plan.

Your treatment may include hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, movement retraining, education, posture guidance, pelvic floor support, and home care recommendations.

Pelvic Floor

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy in Coquitlam

Pelvic floor physiotherapy focuses on the muscles, joints, nerves, and movement patterns that support the pelvis, core, bladder, and lower back.

When the pelvic floor is too tight, too weak, poorly coordinated, or under stress, it may contribute to discomfort, leakage, pressure, pain, or difficulty returning to normal activity.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy may support people dealing with:

  • Bladder leakage
  • Urinary urgency or frequency
  • Pelvic pain or pressure
  • Pregnancy and postpartum recovery
  • Core weakness
  • Low back, hip, or pelvic discomfort
  • Pain with certain movements or activities
  • Difficulty returning to exercise after childbirth
  • Pelvic floor tension or weakness

Your physiotherapist will take time to understand your symptoms, comfort level, health history, and goals. Treatment may include education, breathing strategies, pelvic floor exercises, core strengthening, mobility work, posture guidance, and a personalized home care plan.
