MSP Coverage
If you live in British Columbia, the Medical Services Plan (MSP) plays an important role in your healthcare coverage. While MSP primarily covers essential medical services, some individuals may also qualify for partial coverage of select extended health services, including physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and acupuncture.
What Services Are Covered?
If you meet the income requirements for MSP Supplementary Assistance, MSP contributes $23 per visit, with a combined annual maximum of 10 visits per calendar year. These visits can be shared across the following services:

The 10 annual visits are not allocated per service, meaning they can be used in any combination that best supports your healthcare needs.

Seniors
